All surfing in Okinawa is reef break.
Reef breaks are common everywhere overseas, and the place where the waves rise due to the tides becomes land. (There is a time when the seawater recedes all at once and you can walk…)
Because I am an advanced surfer who has been surfing in various places for many years, I am well aware of the importance of attending reef breaks.
For example… I would not go alone at an unfamiliar point.
Also, if it is a reef break, I will surf with local surfers.
When you hear Okinawa surfing guide/school,
I think many people think that it is used by people who are not yet skilled and can not ride the waves by themselves…??
Most of the surfers who use Island Color have more than 10 years of experience. They understand the difficulty of hitting the waves in an unfamiliar place, so they know the importance of a guide.
Only one day of limited time. I often hear people say that they end up just searching for waves. It’s a great trip to Okinawa, so make the most of Taipa!!
